Trishna Monplaisir, LMSW

I am a licensed professional Social Worker, offering my skills and services to women, companies and schools. I specialize in empowering and supporting young girls and women who struggle with anxiety. I'm passionate about creating safe spaces for social workers, students and young professionals, while helping them to explore community, clarity and peace through well-being sessions and coaching.

About Me

I’m a licensed social worker (LMSW), born and raised in Brooklyn, NY with over 13 years experience working with diverse clients offering both long term therapy and brief interventions. My areas of expertise include: Crisis Intervention, Coping Skills, Anxiety and Women’s Issues.

My approach varies depending on the individual’s needs and goals. I earned my graduate degree from Fordham University School of Social Work and have an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Hunter College. 

Whether it’s through consulting, counseling or wellness workshops, I’m committed to helping individuals develop confidence, compassion and clarity. I’m passionate about creating shared spaces, where individuals know that they are not alone, and that a community of healing and renewal is available for them.

Well-being sessions are currently available virtually at $90 for 45 minutes.  Well-being is the state of feeling comfortable, safe and healthy. During your well-being session, you will have the opportunity to explore and discuss what your mind, body and soul needs to feel emotionally, physically and or spiritually well. The Release Program provides programming and well-being sessions to individuals, organizations and schools who are looking to work through emotions. We believe that holistic mental health services should be embedded within organizations, schools and universities to help individuals work through burnout, anxiety and stress. We offer guided meditation, journaling, emotion check-ins and other programming based on your needs. check out The Release Program site to learn more about our sessions and programming.



The Release Program for Women In Social Work:

The Release Program offers services to black, indigenous women of color, who are social workers or students studying in the field. Our mission is to create safe spaces for social workers and students to experience community and soul care. We offer in-person or virtual gatherings focused on wellness and connection.
