Trishna Monplaisir, LMSW
I am a licensed professional Social Worker, offering my skills and services to women that may need guidance and encouragement while working through life transitions. I specialize in empowering and supporting women who struggle with anxiety. I provide a safe space to experience healing and freedom through sharing and expressing feelings. Likewise, I teach coping skills to help women heal from past hurt and or trauma.
I’m a licensed social worker (LMSW), born and raised in Brooklyn, NY with over 11 years experience working with diverse clients offering both long term therapy and brief interventions. My areas of expertise include: Crisis Intervention, Coping Skills, Anxiety and Women’s Issues.
My approach varies depending on the individual’s needs and goals. Inner Work and Mindfulness are a few modalities that are used to help the women I work with experience healing. I earned my graduate degree from Fordham University School of Social Work and have an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Hunter College.
Whether it’s through counseling or wellness workshops, I’m committed to helping the women I work with develop confidence, compassion and clarity. I’m passionate about creating shared spaces, where women know that they are not alone, and that a community of healing and renewal is available for them.
Individual Therapy/Group Work Sessions
All therapy sessions are out of pocket and are currently being provided virtually.
Individual virtual therapy sessions are $100 for 45 minutes.
Group work sessions are currently open. You will have an opportunity to connect with other women, experience breath work while releasing tension and anxiety. This session is $50 for 45 minutes.
